Farnham

This brief was to create a relaxing haven for parents of two young toddlers.
The room was a large blank canvas but when the clients fell in love with the stunning 'Ivy Shadow' chandelier from Porta Romana, the rest of the scheme fell into place.

Hand painted silk panels from Fromental worked perfectly with the lighting, and shelves from River Bespoke provided the desired display wall.

The living room was intended to be an 'adult' space away from the toddler chaos in other parts of the house. However, the ivory reading chair in the corner has now become the favourite 'quiet' place for one little girl and a cat.

Marylebone

The apartment was designed for a music and sport loving bachelor, careful planning included designated spaces for instruments and sports equipment. 
Trapezium shaped rooms were rebalanced by clever joinery maximising the limited space.
Furniture needed to be flexible, we included a coffee table that could be converted to a dining table for six and a motorised 'caterpillar' bed that crept down the wall behind the study bookshelves and out along the wall to provide an occasional double bed.

Dublin Show House

Kenure Gate was a new development of 3 and 4 bedroom houses in County Rush, Ireland aimed at first time buyers. Forrester Roberts were commissioned to design the bathrooms and kitchens which were rolled out across the development. The show house was commissioned in January for the opening launch in May 2018. The aim was to sell as many houses in Phase 1 as possible before development completion in September 2018. 

The developers were delighted to sell 90% of Phase 1 during the launch weekend. We like to think that the show house helped to achieve this fantastic sales result.

Greenwich

This project involved a full house refurbishment including extensive building works, re-planning, new kitchen and bathrooms, complete redecoration and bespoke joinery in the living space and bedrooms.
The clients had a strong preference for the mid century modern aesthetic, as well as a love for ethnic arts and crafts. The challenge was to incorporate these elements as well as their existing eclectic art collection. 
The ground floor was dark, cold and gloomy, we opened up the space, installed a new kitchen and refreshed the neutral decor with a calming blue feature wall and warm orange highlights.

Chevron Show Apartment

A block of offices built in the 60's and located in Elephant and Castle was to be converted to a development  of two and three bedroomed apartments. These were aimed at young and aspirational Londoners. 

Forrester Roberts designed the kitchens and bathrooms as well as styling the show  apartment. Chosen furnishings were stylish but budget conscious. 

We're happy to report that 75% of the apartments were bought off plan and we received several requests to furnish the bought apartments in the style of the show apartment.

Garden room

The cabin was designed primarily for a garden office, but has become a great space for occasional guest accommodation.

Manufactured in Estonia, the cabin was built to our design. A small kitchenette and shower room were included and sourced in the UK.

Due to the nature of timber buildings, special considerations were made when selecting electrical appliances, sanitary ware and furnishings. 

The client is delighted with the result.

Garden Room Design & Build

The Japanese screen was a family heirloom and made a fantastic piece to mount above the bed. This gave the room an Asian style direction which was naturally picked up by the metallic accents and in the considered, soft lighting.
The bedroom was L-shaped and as storage for clothing was really important, we decided to to use the larger of the two available walls for the wall of fitted wardrobes. The bespoke wardrobes were given beautifully veneered doors, the veneer chosen was an olive coloured stained ash with bronze knobs, which complemented the Asian style of the room perfectly.

Oxford

Trajan House was designed as a head office to be inhabited by three charitable organisations dedicated to studying and battling existential threats. It is now a centre full of dynamic energy which thrums with the sound of productivity. This was a challenging but fascinating project.

The inspiration came from the elements themselves. References to water in all its forms can be found in the droplet patterns on the walls, cloud formation on the floorings and on the 'river' mirror ceiling at reception.

Trajan House, Oxford University

An unloved 70's office building was repurposed as the global headquarters for a high profile research centre studying altruism.

The brief was to create a space which would attract the brightest, most committed researchers from across the planet and to provide an environment conducive to productivity.

The biophilic design was a high priority. Bespoke elements were created to house and display live and artificial plants from every space possible including the ceiling.

London Office

The Mayfair office was designed for a property investment company. 

Bespoke pods were created to maximise the space in the corridor, creating semi private spaces with great acoustic absorption perfect for sensitive or personal conversations.

Plenty of personally dedicated storage enables desks to be cleared on a daily basis keeping the office space clutter free.
